The Albuquerque Renaissance Faire

Singing Pilgrims is excited to be invited to perform at the 5th Annual Albuquerque Renaissance Faire on Saturday, April 29th at the Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon Museum. We’ll be playing on the “East Village” stage from 1:15pm – 2:15pm and then at the “Tilted Tankard Tavern” from 3pm – 3:30pm where you can enjoy food and libations from local vendors including St. Clair Winery, Quarter Celtic Brewery, Falcon Mead, Bosque Brewing, Broken Trail Spirits and Boxing Bear Brewing.

The event goes all day beginning at 10am and ending at 5pm and will have live entertainment, living history, Village Shopping, a free Children’s Realm, a Commoner’s Food Court, The Order of Epona group with live equestrian jousting battles (at 11am and 3pm), and plenty of opportunities to cheer on your favorite knights during the armored combat demonstrations.

Get your little knights, princes and princesses ready for battle with free face painting. They will also be able to join in with multiple performers including Wise Fool circus arts, crafts, and more! Test their might with Fight a Knight on the battle field. Fight a Knight will be held at noon and 4 p.m. Children’s activities are free.

All attendees are highly encouraged to bring your favorite four legged family members! Don’t leave them out of the fun and be sure to dress them up for the Faire Ware Show. The Pet Fashion Contest will be at 1:30 p.m. on the battle field. Sign up at the event.

A variety of food trucks will serve your favorites along with other concessions of traditional Renaissance themed food including turkey legs, corn on the cob, baked goods and more.
